| You never really realize how bad the stock size brakes are on a Z32 until you really have to use them. I have driven a Z32 in some form or another since 1997 and all of the stock size brakes (including aftermarket kits) went bad when put to hard use. If you didn't experience any brake fade at the track, my guess is you never really stomped on the brakes hard. If you do, when the stock size brakes convert inertia into heat the fluid boils, the pads disintegrate and the piston O'rings melt. There was once this 993 I was determined to beat into a corner... If you track again (ain't it a blast!) and you invest in a BBK, you will likely shave a substantial amount of time off each lap and begin keeping up with (or besting) the M3's.
